This policy explains what information EpoxyMatch collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Quote and contact requests: your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, project details, and the listing you contacted.
- Contractor accounts and claims: name, role, business email, phone, password (stored encrypted), license number, and any content you add to your listing.
- Business listing data: publicly available business information such as business name, address, phone, and website.
- Usage data: pages visited, browser type, device, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies, including analytics tools.
How we use it
- To send your quote or contact request to the contractor you chose, or for unclaimed listings, to review it and connect you with that business or a suitable local contractor
- To create and manage contractor accounts, review listing claims, and verify documents
- To reply to your messages and send service emails, such as claim approvals
- To keep the site secure, prevent spam, and improve our content and features
How we share it
- With contractors: your quote request details go to the contractor you contacted.
- With service providers: hosting, email delivery, maps, analytics, and payment processing providers who handle data on our behalf.
- When required by law or to protect our rights and users.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t sell quote requests to lead marketplaces.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the site and log contractors in, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
Data retention
We keep quote requests and contact messages for up to 24 months, and contractor account data while the account is active. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or remove a business listing, by emailing hello@epoxymatch.com. Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights, and we will honor verified requests as required by law.
Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted admin access. No online service is completely secure.
Children
EpoxyMatch is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date shows the current version.
