About EpoxyMatch

EpoxyMatch is a directory of epoxy flooring, garage floor coating and polished concrete contractors across the United States. It started in 2026 with a simple idea: finding someone to coat a garage or shop floor should not mean clicking through ten ad-filled pages that all say the same thing.

Who runs EpoxyMatch

EpoxyMatch is run by Muhammad Saif ul Haq, its founder. Saif works in SEO and website content for home improvement businesses, and kept running into the same problem from the other side: homeowners had plenty of sales pages to read but very little plain, sourced information about what a floor coating costs, how it is installed and how to compare contractors. EpoxyMatch is his attempt to fix that.

What you will find here

  • A contractor directory. Contractors are listed by state and, in larger metro areas, by city. You can also search by ZIP code to see the closest listed contractors.
  • Cost guides and articles. Guides such as our garage floor coating cost guide are built from manufacturer data sheets and named public sources. Our research page explains how.
  • Contractor data. We publish what our directory shows about the contractor market, for example our 2026 report on epoxy contractors by state. These numbers describe contractors listed on EpoxyMatch, not every contractor in the country.

How listings are built

We built the directory from publicly available business information, then filtered it: we remove businesses that are not floor coating contractors, such as flooring stores, suppliers, cleaning companies and lead-generation sites, and we remove closed businesses and duplicates. We correct listings using each business’s own website and updates from owners.

Contractors can add a new listing or claim an existing one for free, then update their services, service area, photos and contact details. If something on a listing is wrong, email hello@epoxymatch.com and we will fix it or remove it.

How quote requests work

  • On a listing that has not been claimed, a quote request goes to the EpoxyMatch team, not to the business. The listing page says so.
  • On a claimed listing, the request goes to the business owner, and EpoxyMatch receives a copy.

We do not sell your details to other contractors.

What the Verified badge means

A listing shows a Verified badge only when it has been claimed and we have checked that the business’s own website is live and shows the same phone number and the same address or service area as the listing. It does not mean we have checked licenses, insurance or the quality of the work. Always check a contractor’s license with your state’s licensing board before you hire.

What we do not do

  • We do not install floors.
  • We do not rank contractors.
  • We plan to offer paid Featured placement to contractors. When we do, those listings will be clearly labeled Featured, and payment will never change what our guides say.
